AIA Pennsylvania is proud to announce the 2015 Leadership Team.
In 2015, the AIA Pennsylvania Board of Directors is focused on continuing to make improvements to the association and strengthen our legislative position in Harrisburg. Incoming president Michael Skolnick, AIA expressed enthusiasm that, “the association is being run more like a business. We are saving money and looking for more ways to bring in additional funding including non-dues revenue, sponsorships, and expanding services. We are working on AIA National’s re-positioning by ramping up our communications and explaining what architects do and why our profession is valuable to the public. ” AIA Pennsylvania Executive Director, Steve Swarney echoes these thoughts stating, “the future for AIA Pennsylvania is very bright. We had a great 2014. We have an outstanding team in place. We are well on our way of becoming THE voice of the construction industry and returning architects to the role of master builder.”
Stay tuned for more to come from our great new team!
AIA Pennsylvania would like to thank our outgoing President Howard Quaintance, AIA for his commitment to the state component and the re-positioning of AIA Pennsylvania as Board President. His leadership and knowledge of the history of AIA Pennsylvania are invaluable.
