AIA Pennsylvania Announces 2017 Board of Directors Leadership Team

Harrisburg, PA – December 29, 2016
AIA Pennsylvania is pleased to announce its 2017 Leadership Team on the Board of Directors, who serve as our Executive Committee. The 20-member Board of Directors is composed of members from across the state.

“Representing the interests of architects in governmental affairs and advocating for public policies that emphasize good design and responsible stewardship of the built and natural environments are at the heart of our mission,” said Kelly. “Architects are an integral part of our economy as we touch all public buildings including schools, governmental buildings, health care facilities, hotels, businesses, and residential. We see projects all the way through from beginning to end giving us a unique perspective. I look forward to helping our members continue to thrive and prosper through the work at AIA Pennsylvania.”

President:
Robert Kelly, AIA Philadelphia
Kelly is the owner of idee Designworks.

President-Elect:
Scott J. Compton, AIA Philadelphia
Compton is the Managing Principal at Klein and Hoffman Restoration Architects and Structural Engineers.

Treasurer:
Jeff Pastva, AIA Philadelphia
Pastva is a project architect at JDavis Architects.

Secretary:
Raymond A. Sinagra, RA, AIA Pittsburgh
Sinagra is Senior Project Manager for Civil & Engineering Consultants, Inc.

Government Affairs Chair:
Marc Mondor, AIA, LEED Fellow Pittsburgh
Mondor is co-founder of evolveEA.

PA Regional Representative to the Strategic Council:
Chip Desmone, AIA, LEED AP Pittsburgh
Desmone is Principal/President of Desmone Architects.

Michael Metzger, AIA, LEED AP, President of Alloy5 based in Bethlehem is also joining the board as a new representative of the Eastern chapter.
