Thirty-six AIA Pennsylvania members took the pledge to telephone their state legislators on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021, for Architects Tele-Action Day.
Not one of the 36? Rest assured, it’s never too late to advocate! Pledge to call your state Senator and Representative to set up a time to tele-advocate in the next few weeks. Your primary mission – build the relationship, introduce yourself, and the great work you do for clients and communities in your day-to-day.
Time-permitting, advocates are asked to share the background, opportunity, and the “ask” to support two issues that AIA Pennsylvania is working to move through the legislative process from co-sponsor memo to their next stop – tagged with a bill number.

Once you pledge and make your calls to schedule out a conversation with your legislators or their staffers, please drop Amal Mahrouki a quick note with the date of your meeting. She will notify you if any of the issues have moved and if the “asks” need to be tailored. See the note below for an “ask” update as of March 31.
