Input Sought on Pennsylvania’s Property Maintenance Code Enforcement

If you are an architect working in real estate development, manage properties or facilities, serve as an owner’s representative, or are on the receiving end of property maintenance code enforcement in Pennsylvania, the Local Government Commission, a bicameral, bipartisan legislative service agency of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, is looking for your input.

Senator David Argall, Chair of the Blight Reform Task Force, is leading the commission’s task force in undertaking a study of municipal property maintenance code enforcement within the Commonwealth. Your participation will help the task force identify trends in code enforcement across the Commonwealth, but also gather invaluable recommendations and suggestions on how to better address code enforcement and blight mitigation. Survey responses are due November 20, 2023.
