Join your colleagues, peers, and industry partners from across Pennsylvania to celebrate architectural excellence with AIA Pennsylvania’s 5th annual awards broadcast reveal!
WHEN
Tune in on Thursday, November 18th at 8 PM for AIA Pennsylvania’s 5th annual awards broadcast reveal celebrating the individual and firm honorees in five programs including the Architectural Excellence Committee on the Environment (COTE) Awards, Design Awards, Special Awards, Student Awards, and EPiC Firms.
HOW
No registration is required! Stream the premiere from AIA Pennsylvania’s YouTube channel via any device that supports the YouTube application (phone, tv, tablet, computer). Here are some helpful tips to ensure that you’ll be able to share your congratulatory messages with peers and colleagues during the live debut.
Once subscribed to AIA Pennsylvania’s YouTube channel via the “subscribe” button, make sure you hit the “bell” icon to the right of the button and “all” to receive channel notifications.
Need a reminder? Sign in to YouTube (see helpful tips below), navigate to the premiere page, and hit the bell or “set reminder” icon in the black bar in the bottom left corner of the screen to receive a notification when the broadcast goes live.

You’ll be able to view the broadcast without logging in to YouTube, but you’ll be unable to share your congratulatory messages in the chat.
Below find a step-by-step guide for joining the conversation.
If you haven’t used YouTube with your Google account before, you’ll need to “create a channel”. Once you’re logged in, YouTube will ask you to create a channel to join a live chat if you haven’t done so previously. Review the instructions below for creating a channel with your Google account.
Don’t have a Google account?
First, you’ll need to create a Google account. Check out their step-by-step guide to create your account and prepare you for the next step. You don’t need to set up a Gmail account to have a Google account! Here’s a helpful tip from Google Account Help: “Tip: You don’t need a Gmail account to create a Google Account. You can use your non-Gmail email address to create one instead.”
Logged in but need to create a “channel”?
In order to participate in YouTube Live chat, you’ll need to “create a channel” associated with your Google account. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
1) Head to the awards broadcast live stream page
2) Enter the First Name and Last Name of how you’d like to appear in the Live Chat.
