Continuing Education: Understanding the Value, Technology and Benefits of High Performance Homes

$35High Performance Homes, a leading Mid-Atlantic production and custom home builder of Zero Energy Ready Homes, has announced they are presenting a course in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy as part of The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Education Program titled, “Helping the Consumer Understand the Value, Technology and Benefits of High Performance Homes”. The course will take place on Friday March 18, 2016 from 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. at High Performance Homes U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) 2015 Housing Innovation Award winning model at The Links at Gettysburg in Pennsylvania. Instructors Sam Rashkin, Chief Architect at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Building Technologies Office, along with Jamie Lyons, PE Technical Director for DOE Zero Energy Ready Home and President of High Performance Homes, Kiere DeGrandchamp will lead the course. Architects licensed in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia and West Virginia are eligible for the course, and upon successful completion, will earn 5.0 LU/HSW credits to meet the health, safety and welfare credits required to maintain their license.
