featuring Al Comly, AIA, Chair of the AIA Pennsylvania Building Codes Committee
The presentation is intended for design professionals and those related to and supporting design professionals in the preparation of code compliant documents for construction in Pennsylvania. It will begin with a brief history to serve as the basis for the actual discussion of the code, since part of the code is understanding the process by which it is and has been adopted. The decision to jump directly from using the 2009 ICC codes package to the 2015 ICC codes package, adds another dimension to this update. Brief mention of the decision to move Philadelphia ahead to the 2018—further adding dimension to the overall code structure in the Commonwealth. We hope to see you there!
