Join us as we demystify the design awards jury process! AIA Pennsylvania welcomes Reed Kroloff, Principal at jones/kroloff, and 2017 AIA Pennsylvania Architectural Excellence Design Awards head juror to share his insights on best practices for design awards submissions.
Reed was the chair of the 2017 AIA Pennsylvania Architectural Excellence Design Awards and is a nationally renowned leader in the fields of architecture, urbanism, and design. He has managed top design programs, edited the architectural profession’s leading publication, spoken at gatherings such as TED and the Aspen Design Conference, and advised architects and clients on some of the most significant projects of the last 20 years.

In a career spanning 25 years, Reed has edited the nation’s leading architectural magazine, led two noted schools of architecture, art, and design, and served as a regular national commentator on architecture and design. As a partner in jones/kroloff, he has advised clients that include, among others, the Highline, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art, the University of Chicago, Yale University, the US Army Corps of Engineers, the Federal Government of Mexico, Berry Gordy, Brad Pitt/Make it Right, Quicken Loans/Rock Ventures, and the History Channel.
