At Thomas Jefferson University, we believe real estate has a quadruple bottom line combining financial feasibility with environmental sustainability, social consciousness, and design excellence. Join the College of Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) and the MS in Real Estate Development (MSRED) for a free course to take the next step in your real estate development career.

This introductory course, Intro to the Quadruple Bottom Line of Real Estate Development is ideal for anyone who wants to learn to address not only the financial bottom line but the economic, social, and ecological issues by developing commercial, mixed-use, and/or residential projects. The course offers a deep dive into Jefferson’s quadruple bottom line ethos of people, planet, profit, and placemaking. You start the course by learning the eight stages of the sustainable real estate development process. Each week participants dive into the components of people, planet, profit, and placemaking.

This FREE course is 6 weeks long for a total of 12 hours. Live online class begins June 2, 2021. This course is open to everyone and all live classes will be recorded and available to course registrants. This course is designed as a valuable standalone course to refresh your career, or as the beginning of your journey in sustainable real estate development. Participants that complete the entire 6-week course will receive a Course Certificate.

Participants that complete the 6-week course and enroll in the MSRED or Graduate Certificate program by Fall 2021 will be entered into a raffle for a $2,500 scholarship. Additional scholarship opportunities are available upon enrollment in the MSRED or Graduate Certificate program.
