ABOUT THE SEMINAR
Masonry Troubleshooting: Identifying Problems and Solutions
July 21, 2015
Educational facilities tend to use durable materials for their structure and skin, but even these materials, when improperly designed, detailed, installed or maintained can demonstrate predictable and avoidable problems. This seminar examines the most common building materials, the procedures involved when inspecting and designing a maintenance problem, and discusses the more common problems in brick, concrete, stone and other materials. Special emphasis is placed on specific problems and how to avoid them, and if they already occurred, how to fix them and avoid future occurrences. 1 LU/HSW
Continuing Educational Credits
Each seminar meets AIA/CES criteria for 1.0 learning units, which will be reported directly to AIA.
