Patricia Culley, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP
Associate Principal, Bohlin Cywinksi Jackson

Patricia is a highly collaborative Associate Principal with Bohlin Cywinski Jackson. She has a keen ability to take complex issues and articulate a clear vision to client. She embraces complex technical challenges and balances her design talent with exceptional management skills. Patricia is a leader for sustainability with Bohlin Cywinski Jackson’s practice. Her knowledge of sustainable design strategies is exemplified in her work leading the Frick Environmental Center in Pittsburgh; her leadership was critical to the building’s achievement of Living Building, LEED Platinum Certification, and recognition with the 2019 AIA COTE Top Ten Award. Patricia has presented her work on projects like the Frick Environmental Center at a number of conferences and on behalf of several professional organizations such as; International Living Future Institute, AIA National, International Living Product, and Green Building Alliance Inspire Speaker Series. She is also a board member for AIA Pittsburgh, Green Building Alliance, and Pittsburgh Living Future Collaborative.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Karen Robichaud
Communications Director, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson

As Bohlin Cywinski Jackson’s Communications Director, Karen is an experienced storyteller in the arts, architecture and design, bringing a holistic approach to communications and strategy. Serving as a creative leader and storyteller for award-winning campaigns and projects of multiple scales, Karen brings a broad perspective to her work. Karen has been active in the AIGA and AIA, primarily through the AIA Committee on the Environment’s Communications Task Force and as a thought leader for the 2016 and 2018 Equity by Design Symposia. Her work has been published in the AIA YAF quarterly magazine, Connection, and Architectural Digest. In addition to her work as a leader in communications for the architectural profession, Karen is deeply committed to building a more equitable, diverse and inclusive profession.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nicholas Snyder, AIA
Senior Associate, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson

Nick is a Senior Associate with Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, with nearly two decades of experience. He is an insightful designer who values immersive, open communication; inspirational planning responding to client needs; and the power of resilient design to inform the development of unique design opportunities. Nick’s work ranges from large academic and workplace buildings to detail-focused residential and cultural experiences, creating spaces that encourage interaction, discovery, and wellness. From 2009-2013, Nick served as Secretary, Vice President and the President of the Northeastern Pennsylvania chapter of the AIA, of which he currently remains as a Board member. For several years Nick has served on local and state AIA chapter award juries, and is also a committee member for the chapter’s annual scholarship portfolio review. He frequently serves as a lecturer and design critic at various architecture schools.
