Today, safety and security are enhanced by practicing fundamental security design principles in the planning phase. Phase Shift is a leading practitioner of these principles. This session highlights the differences between Technical, Physical and Operational Security, and focuses on basic design concepts for Technical Security in the built environment. This will be an interactive presentation providing graphic illustrations and clear descriptions of interior and exterior application of technical security protection concepts, and how these concepts can enhance safety in all Architectural projects.

He holds a Top-Secret clearance from the US Department of State, is a certified Physical Security Professional (PSP), and a certified Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) practitioner. He has worked on a broad range of Technology and Security projects and has successfully contributed in a variety of consulting, design and project management roles.
