The Power of e-Procurement: Reducing Costs, Strengthening Relationships
June 23, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Presented by PennBid
Public agencies and their consultants – including many architects – are constantly seeking more efficient ways to “get the job done.” Recent events have forced public agencies to be even more creative, often holding remote project meetings and utilizing tools and methods which promote paperless, contactless, and virtual environments without sacrificing the services they typically provide. Bid Management is one area where existing, free tools are available so they can continue to promote “Best Practices.”
With E-Procurement having been introduced to the public sector over 10 years ago, it is no longer “new” and is rapidly becoming the norm. Through this engaging webinar, participants will gain understanding of:
- The competitive advantages of utilizing e-Procurement (bidding) tools;
- The differences and costs associated with various types of bid management including
paper-based, document management sites, and e-Procurement; - How to evaluate e-Procurement platforms to determine best fit for their needs, and;
- Several procurement (bidding) Best Practices.
