Join us at we kick off 2020 with a tour of the Zero Energy Lombardo Welcome Center at Millersville University!
Learn about the key features and design traits of this project, network, and hear what’s in store for the year ahead! Continuing educatio credit pending.
Built in 2018, the Lombardo Welcome Center is the first building in Pennsylvania to achieve zero energy certification with the International Living Future Institute and one of the highest energy-performing buildings in the country on a net energy use intensity (EUI) basis. The tour will provide an overview of the Lombardo Welcome Center’s design (500+ solar panels, geothermal heating system, energy efficient lighting and HVAC) and performance during its first year of use and beyond. The tour will discuss the Lombardo Welcome Center within the context of Millersville University’s broader energy management and community engagement efforts.
