MURPHY & DITTENHAFER ANNOUNCES TWO NEW HIRES
Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects is pleased to welcome Rebecca McCormick, AIA and Peter Colello to the M&D team.
McCormick has joined the firm as a Project Architect, with Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees from Tulane University in New Orleans. She previously worked with Gillon Design and Harbinson Architects in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Rebecca McCormick served on the board and as president of the Winston Salem Chapter AIA from 2016-2017. Her initial project assignments at Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects include renovations and improvements to a historic building for the Maryland State BoyChoir in Baltimore, Maryland and several programming, planning and reconfiguration commissions. McCormick is a registered Architect and a member of the American Institute of Architecture. She is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, and recently moved to York County with her family.
Colello has joined the firm as an Architectural Designer, with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Temple University. He previously worked with Murray Associates Architects and LSC Design, with a focus on higher education projects such as student centers, libraries, and department suites. In his new position at Murphy & Dittenhafer, Peter has joined project teams working on a community college building addition for a welcome center and is also assisting on the design of interior and exterior renovations for an urban charter school. Colello is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
