What we are seeking:
We are looking for a team member with 5 – 10 years of experience and strong design and technical aptitude for immediate opportunities as a Project Architect in Erie, PA.
We are a progressive firm seeking an experienced architect to help shape the level of service provided to our clients.
This is a project leadership position with responsibility for all design phases, from schematic design through construction administration, with opportunities to work on a diversity of project types.
This position will allow you to lead demanding, high profile projects in an environment where design excellence is achieved through team collaboration.

Manage the project design and the delivery of construction documents
Support staff career development through mentoring and coaching
Communicate the design intent to owner and manage daily contact with clients
Inspire the design process and develop forward-thinking solutions
We expect you to:
Coordinate tasks with internal and external teams for an integrated design and construction process
Confirm projects comply with applicable codes including Pennsylvania Department of Health regulations
Manage project-specific Building Information Modeling efforts
Oversee and participate in technical design and detailing
Represent owner’s concerns to firm leadership
Develop project phasing, manage project schedules and execute work plans
Manage consultants and coordinate their work
Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control at all phases of design
Implement Bidding and Construction Administration processes
What it takes:
Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture professional degree required
Architecture professional licensure required
Knowledge of healthcare codes and standards, including NFPA and FGI Guidelines
Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Creative problem solving and imaginative design abilities
General knowledge of building construction systems and associated industry standards
Experience with the Pennsylvania DOH Division of Safety Inspection submittal and approval a plus
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal, verbal and visual communications skills
Assertive, tactful and enthusiastic personality able to collaborate successfully as part of a team
Ability to take initiative, but also take direction from office leadership
Capable of maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times
