Delegates of AIA PA, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Central PA, and Northeastern PA visited Capitol Hill on Wednesday to engage with legislators on key policy issues affecting the architecture profession and the built environment. Advocating for design freedom, sustainable design, fair tax and fee policies, equitable development, and investments in public infrastructure, architects met with lawmakers to emphasize the critical role of design in shaping resilient communities. AIA’s Hill Day strengthened partnerships between industry professionals and policymakers, ensuring that architecture remains at the forefront of legislative discussions impacting Pennsylvania’s future.
