What is PALM?
AIA Pennsylvania’s PALM (Promoting Advocacy and Licensure through Mentorship)
This is a program that is designed to foster meaningful connections between emerging professionals and experienced architects in Pennsylvania that may not have had such an opportunity in the past. The purpose of the PALM program is to create a dialogue between registered architects, aspiring architects, and architecture students regarding advocacy, career experiences, goals, and thoughts on the past and future of the profession. This program is intended to engage members at all levels of professional development and encourage the mission of AIA Pennsylvania by advocating the benefits of licensure for architectural grads and the importance of advocacy for all members.
This program emphasizes:
- Career Development – Guidance on licensure, firm dynamics, and leadership opportunities.
- Skill Building – Exposure to project management, client relations, and emerging technologies.
- Community Connection – Strengthening ties within the architectural community across generations.
- Mutual Learning – Encouraging an exchange of fresh ideas, creativity, and industry wisdom
Please Join us no matter what stage of your career you are currently in:
