Betty Hackney, Assoc. AIA is a Marketing Associate at BartonPartners Architects and Planners. She also runs her own private practice, BFH Design, and is an Adjunct Professor at Thomas Jefferson University. Trained as an architect at Temple University and The Cooper Union, Betty uses her architectural knowledge and expertise in the marketing and graphic design work for those in the AEC industry. Her passion lies in the communication and visualization of design, ensuring that architecture leaves a lasting impact on the communities it serves. She uses this as a guiding principle in her own work and in the 3rd year design studios she teaches. Her additional interests include urban design, historical preservation/communication and EDI outreach.
