Cassandra Marks

Cassandra Marks, Assoc. AIA, is an Architectural Designer at BartonPartners and a 2022 graduate from Marywood University where she completed her 5 year Bachelor of Architecture in less than 4 years. Cassandra serves on the AIA PA Board of Directors as the PA State/Territory Associate Representative and on the Emerging Professionals Committee (EPiC).

While at Marywood University, Cassandra participated in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon, an international collegiate competition, where her team was awarded First Place. While studying abroad in Galicia, Spain, she worked on a design team that built Nordés Observation Post, which was nominated for ArchDaily’s Building of the Year Award Small Installations Division.

Cassandra is deeply passionate about helping others advance their career and overcoming the many obstacles (personally and professionally) that stand in the way. As someone whose education was interrupted by Covid-19, she is focused on helping students and recent graduates navigate a post-covid world. She is an advocate for diversity and wants to work towards making the profession more accessible.
