Katie Broh, AIA is a Partner at MGA Partners in Philadelphia where she directs the firm’s work for academic projects and those involving cultural and performing arts organizations. Her prowess in addressing advanced pedagogy across disciplines and for performance, social, collaborative and maker spaces has led to innovative and highly regarded designs for academic and cultural institutions including University of Pennsylvania, Case Western Reserve University, Indiana University, University of Delaware, Northeastern University, University of Michigan, The Shipley School, Central High School and the Mann Center for the Performing Arts.
Katie has long maintained an immersive leadership role in Philadelphia’s cultural scene through her board leadership of two non-profits dedicated to arts education for school children—Musicopia and Dancing Classrooms Philly. She is a past board member of AIA Philadelphia and remains co-chair of AIA Philadelphia’s Owner’s Roundtable. She has been an adjunct faculty at Drexel University’s Westphal College for over 10 years, teaching design studios and thesis. In addition, Katie currently serves on the Facilities Committee for Germantown Friends School.
Katie is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Pennsylvania. She resides in Philadelphia with her husband, Jonathan Broh AIA, and their son.
