Project Architect

Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates Architects

Elysia serves as a volunteer for the AIA at a local level on the Central PA board, representing Emerging Professionals from the region. She has also served on the AIA PA EPiC Committee since 2015 and is currently in her second year as AIA PA’s EPiC Chair. In addition to these professional service positions, Elysia spends time volunteering with the local ACE chapter of Cumberland County. She believes that mentorship is one of the most important aspects of the architecture profession—not only to create better well rounded emerging professionals, but to build dialogue on the future of the profession and how it can continue to grow and adapt.

Elysia received a Bachelor of Architecture from Philadelphia University (currently Thomas Jefferson University), with a minor in sustainability. She spends her time outside of work and professional activities traveling, hiking the AT, and practicing improv. Elysia thrives on meeting new people and experiencing new places; she believes architects must have a passion for and understanding of the people and places they design for.
