Throughout his 30+ year career in Architecture, Quintin Kittle has distinguished himself as an effective leader, an inspiring mentor, and a tireless advocate for the profession.

Quintin has always relished his role in molding and developing the next generation of leaders in Architecture. Throughout his career he has mentored younger associates and has developed a strong network of fellow architects and constructors. With experience in managing all phases of architectural projects from pre-design to construction documentation, Quintin has passed on his knowledge through presentations on practice management, and the built environment. When he started his own practice, Quintin actively recruited, trained, and developed emerging professionals while also encouraging these associates to become involved in AIA early in their careers.

Quintin is a well-rounded architecture professional who has developed a distinct expertise in project and practice management. In 2011 he founded qkArchitecture where he focuses on commercial, retail, and residential projects and has developed a specialization in adaptive reuse projects or all types and scales.

Quintin is particularly proud of his association with AIA and has used his various roles to advocate for the profession. He currently holds AIA Pittsburgh AIA Pennsylvania Board Member positions, serves as Chair of the AIA Pittsburgh Advocacy Committee, and is a member of the AIA PA Governmental Affairs Committee.

Quintin, a proud Navy veteran, lives in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with his wife Ellen and their two children. He attended [current National Champion] Louisiana State University and is licensed to practice architecture in Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia. Quintin is optimistic about the future of Architecture in the Commonwealth and is committed to promoting and supporting the AIA’s programs and platforms.
