Nina is an experienced professional with a unique background spanning 17 years in the built environment. Her career has been marked by wearing multiple hats and acquiring diverse expertise in architecture, landscape design, urban design, and sustainability. Having received training both internationally and in the USA, she possesses a global perspective and a comprehensive approach to design challenges.
Nina’s educational journey includes a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design and a Master of Architecture in Environmental Building Science, complementing my Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Architectural Studies with a focus on landscape design. Nina’s specialized master’s degree underscores a dedication to urban systems, sustainable design, and community development.
Currently, she is the Director of Planning, Community, and Economic Development at the City of Johnstown. Nina has the privilege of utilizing her experience and expertise to drive impactful design and planning initiatives. This role allows her to channel her passion for creating equitable and sustainable communities, making a tangible difference in the lives of the people she serves.
