2021 International Codes will take effect on January 1, 2026 Last week the Pennsylvania Independent Regulatory Review Commission (IRRC) reviewed and approved the rule making updating 34 Pa. Code, Part XIV, Chapters 401 and 403 (Pennsylvania UCC).  The effect of this action is the updates to the Uniform Construction Code of Pennsylvania, including the move to the 2021 International Codes

The PA Department of Labor and Industry has not completed the regulatory process required to enforce the 2021 ICC codes.
